This happened to Christie this spring in Travis County, TX. The subject was never found or identified, and no further incidents were reported in that area.
Since this incident Christie now carries Pepper Gel, which will allow better spray control with limited back spray in the wind. I have reached out to Pepper Spray Manufacturers to partner up under our 501 (c) 3 to have the ability to pass out free small Personal Defense Pepper Gel Carriers. SABRE has stepped up and is willing to work with Team Tracy ATX to achieve the goal of keeping cyclists safe. We hope to be able to pass 100+ out at Gravel Worlds to female cyclists.

The worst day is a cyclist life is getting hit by a vehicle and that day happened on January 18th 2022 to Christie. Thankfully we had Houston – Fish Bicycle Lawyers to guide us threw the process.
